Matchday goes ahead with tributes to Jesus de Miguel and four postponements

RFEF, LaLiga and Liga F have announced that the matchday scheduled between 6 and 9 November will go ahead with tributes to Jesus de Miguel. The remembrance of the Tenerife striker will be carried out under the slogan "Always in our memory" and will be marked in stadiums during the matches.

In First and Second Division matches, the starting XIs will walk out onto the pitch intermingled and wearing shirts with the number nine. Afterwards, players and referees will form a semicircle, embracing one another, a floral tribute will be laid and a minute's silence will be observed.

In addition, at the first stoppage in play from the ninth minute onwards, a video will be shown and the player will be applauded. The minute's silence and the pause will also take place in RFEF national competitions and in Liga F.

Postponed fixtures and Fantasy impact

Not every match on the schedule will be played on the originally planned date. Castellon - Eibar, Granada - Tenerife, Andorra - Mallorca and Costa Adeje Tenerife - Alaves have all been postponed and are awaiting a new date.

From a Fantasy perspective, these postponements mean managers need to keep a close eye on the setup of each platform and the scoring rules that apply to postponed matches. For now, the confirmed detail is that those four fixtures will not be played in the scheduled window and will have to be rescheduled.

Meanwhile, the Heliodoro Rodriguez Lopez will open its doors on Saturday to host a tribute open to supporters. The event is scheduled for 18:00 in the Canary Islands, 19:00 on the mainland, and will be broadcast on LaLiga and RFEF channels.
