Real Madrid visits Mendizorroza after falling in the Champions League against City, following a defeat in the league against Celta. Xabi Alonso's team will arrive in Vitoria with numerous absences, especially in the defensive zone: Carreras and Fran García due to suspension; Carvajal, Alaba, Militao, Mendy, and Trent due to injury.

There will also be certain players who could be doubtful until the last minute like: Huijsen, Camavinga, and Mbappé (none of the three played against Manchester City).

Therefore, the starting lineup, despite the absences, is expected to be quite complicated. The main doubts are Mbappé and Camavinga (in their place, academy players Gonzalo and Valdepeñas could enter).

Also, it is anticipated that Rodrygo, Ceballos, and Güler will compete for two positions, and one of them will be left out of the starting eleven.
