CA Osasuna Fantasy Guide 2026/27: squad, likely starting XI and recommended players
LaLiga fantasy guides are back. We analyze Osasuna's squad for the 2026/27 season: signings, departures, a possible starting XI, each player's role, set-piece takers, and recommended players. A useful guide for Comunio, Biwenger, LaLiga Fantasy, Mister, Futmondo and other fantasy games.
Objective for the 2026/27 season
After achieving survival on the final matchday last season, Osasuna face a new campaign shaped by the change of head coach. Following the departure of Alessio Lisci to PAOK in Thessaloniki, Luis Miguel Ramis takes charge of the rojillo side with the goal of consolidating the team away from the relegation zone and bringing it closer again to the mid-to-upper part of the table. The Catalan coach arrives after turning Burgos into the least-conceding team in Segunda Division.
Ramis will have to keep the identity that has defined Osasuna in recent years: intensity, defensive order, collective commitment, and strength at El Sadar. The continuity of much of the squad and the experience of the club's most important players point to optimism, although adapting to the new coaching staff will be one of the key aspects at the start of the season.
In fantasy terms, Osasuna will again have several very interesting players. Ante Budimir will remain the main attacking reference and one of LaLiga's most reliable forwards, while Aimar Oroz, Sergio Herrera, Catena and Boyomo start as essential pieces. The exits of Víctor Muñoz to Liverpool, Juan Cruzto Real Oviedo, and Javi Galán to Celta Vigo reduce options in the squad, and for now the arrival of Dubasin (Sporting de Gijón) is the only one on the horizon.
The main uncertainty will be to see how Ramis distributes the minutes and whether he introduces tactical changes that alter the prominence of some players. If the team maintains its defensive solidity and improves with the ball, several of its players will again be very profitable picks for fantasy managers.
Signings and new faces
Dubasin3.290.000€+330.000€ -
DLThe Spanish-Belgian player, who can play in several attacking positions, arrives at the rojillo club after signing 17 goals with Sporting between the League and the Cup in his last season in Segunda Division.
Important departures
Víctor Muñoz4.390.000€ -
DLAfter a season in which he became important for Osasuna, he has headed to the Premier League to defend Liverpool's colors. During the season he showed himself as one of the most incisive players in the attack of the Navarrese club, contributing 6 goals, 2 assists and 2 MVPs. With no reinforcements yet, Rubén García or Raúl Moro look set to play on the flanks alongside Budimir.
Javi Galán2.330.000€+230.000€ -
DFHe has returned to Celta de Vigo after his loan spell at the Navarrese club. Returning, in theory, to be the owner of the left side after Mingueza's non-renewal.
Juan Cruz160.000€ 3
DFAnother left-footed defender who leaves the team, heading for Real Oviedo. Both departures leave, for now, Bretones only at left-back.
Goalkeepers in fantasy terms

Sergio Herrera2.820.000€+20.000€ 5
PT@1@
The first-choice in Osasuna's goal and one of the best goalkeepers in the competition. In the previous campaign he managed 7 clean sheets. Despite having several negative scores, in many matches he still managed not to drop below green and even blue scores even when the rojillo side had no goals in their favor. He is one of the most reliable options in this team for your fantasy, because although he often has the occasional "crazy" game, consistency is one of his trademarks.
Aitor Fernández230.000€ -
PT@4@
He is set to be Sergio Herrera's backup . On paper, he will only have minutes if Herrera is suspended or injured. His signing is only recommended if in your league there is a bench and you already have the starter covered for any unforeseen situation.
Defenders in fantasy terms

Catena3.500.000€+30.000€ 5
DF@2@
The real wall of CA Osasuna. Much more consistent and with far more points than Boyomo last season. Three goals and two assists that earned him blue and green scores that fantasy managers love. This year he has to form a real "Bermuda Triangle" with Boyomo and Sergio Herrera, where they erase opposing attackers from the map.
Íñigo Arguibide180.000€ -
DF@4@
The young Navarrese player starts as a rotation option at right-back. Rosier is ahead of him in the starting XI. Even last year, Iker Benito played in that position as well as Moncayola, so his involvement will depend on how the new coach distributes the minutes.
Boyomo1.520.000€-210.000€ 5
DF@2@
The Cameroonian player has to be a difference-maker in the heart of the defense. Last year he delivered below what was expected in fantasy terms. He started the season with three competent matches, but over the course of it, he only managed a green or blue score in 6 more games. This campaign he has to be at the level expected of him to form a feared defense in the league.
Rosier1.280.000€+20.000€ 1
DF@4@
Bad news for Rosier at the start of the league. In the first friendly match of the preseason against Racing de Santander, he felt discomfort that sent him back from his hamstring injury. That setback made him miss 5-6 matches last season and keep him out for 40 days. Therefore, with the debut in matchday 1 on the horizon against Celta at Balaídos, his fantasy signing is ruled out for now, until the evolution of the problem is seen.
Abel Bretones1.300.000€+40.000€ 5
DF@3@
With the departures of Javi Galán and Juan Cruz, for now, the only specific squad player at left-back. He is not especially fantasy-friendly, but last season he scored against Getafe and delivered a handful of green scores when he started. Keep an eye on whether the rojillo side signs competition for the position.
Herrando350.000€+30.000€ 3
DF@4@
Despite being much more of a substitute than a starter, Herrando played 28 matches last season. Normally, he will be the replacement, especially for Catena or even Boyomo in the center of defense if they have any setbacks or suspensions.
Midfielders in fantasy terms

Osambela170.000€-10.000€ -
MD@4@
The young midfielder from Subiza aims to get more playing time in the team than last campaign. After renewing last summer until June 2029 with the rojillo side, he will try, at the very least, to get into the rotation little by little, gaining more weight in Ramis's team.
Jon Moncayola1.840.000€+20.000€ 6
MD@3@
A utility player at Osasuna's service. He's not especially fantasy-friendly, but he plays everything, except injuries (few) or suspensions. His physical output, versatility and range make him a good stopgap for your team. Good value for money to keep in mind.
Raúl Moro1.790.000€+130.000€ 13
MD@3@
This could be his season. After arriving at the Sadar in January last year, he alternated starts and substitute appearances without any exceptional performances. This year he has to prove himself and is in contention to be one of the wide supporting players on the flank for Budimir up front.
Rubén García1.940.000€+80.000€ 9
MD@3@
The Joker still has plenty of fight left. At 33 years old, he is already a veteran of Osasuna and of the league. Last year he ended up becoming very important for Alessio Lisci, starting 28 matches, providing 5 assists and scoring two goals. That said, he is usually one of those who almost always comes on as a substitute. If Ramis doesn't get more dynamite on the flanks, he will be competing for a spot with Dubasin.
Iker Muñoz280.000€-20.000€ 3
MD@4@
The Navarrese midfielder will start the season competing for a spot with Lucas Torró in the team's midfield. Last year he had a good run in the second half that earned him green scores and some blue ones, but without reaching the consistency that would allow him to settle in the XI or play more. We need to see what role the new coach gives him in the squad.
Kike Barja520.000€+50.000€ -
MD@4@
He usually has the role of impact substitute. Hampered by injuries in previous campaigns, last year he managed to score 2 goals and provide 2 assists in the last eleven matches, coming off the bench. A fantasy patch candidate, we'll have to see how he develops in the early league games.
Aimar Oroz3.050.000€+320.000€ 7
MD@2@
The real engine of the team. If Aimar works, Osasuna works. His game vision and his ability to find the final pass open the way to goals, especially for Budimir. His quality on the ball and tactical intelligence make the difference, but he also stands out for his commitment without the ball, being one of the first to lead the press. At 24 years old, he is the player who sets the pace for Osasuna. If he reaches his best level, the rojillos will make a major competitive leap.
Iker Benito160.000€ -
MD@4@
Last year he burned more than one fantasy bench, by scoring two big games in matchdays 4 and 6, even managing to score against Rayo Vallecano. Then injuries kept him out of the picture for more than two thirds of the season. His role, therefore, remains to be seen. For now, not recommended.
Lucas Torró980.000€+110.000€ 5
MD@3@
Osasuna's anchor. With few exceptions, very much a starter in the Navarrese midfield. His 1.90m dominates the middle, where his physical strength and tactical discipline make him the team's ball-winner. Better fantasy numbers in 24/25 than last year, but he could be a "low cost" option for your midfield.
Moi Gómez510.000€ 4
MD@4@
Another of the impact substitutes in the team. He didn't post bad numbers last campaign as a regular substitute. However, he would need more consistency to be able to aim for a fantasy patch. Versatility and game vision in small doses.
Forwards in fantasy terms

Raúl García de Haro1.090.000€+90.000€ 0
DL@3@
Budimir's backup. Almost always coming on from the bench. Last season he managed to score 7 goals (6 of them coming in the second half) and provide 1 assist. He could be your back-pocket option, a luxury substitute, or you can wait to see the role Ramis gives him in the team.
Budimir9.680.000€+280.000€ 6
DL@1@
Without a doubt, Osasuna's goal man. Last year 17 goals in 37 matches. In 24-25, 21 goals in 38 games. He takes penalties, plays everything and doesn't rotate. This year he will again drive the team's goals. He is indestructible and it would be convenient to have him almost always on your shortlist.
Dubasin3.290.000€+330.000€ -
DL@3@
He has signed a contract for the next 4 seasons. He was one of the standout players in Segunda Division during the 2025/26 season. He played 37 league matches, 35 of them as a starter. Between the League and the Cup he scored 16 goals and provided 4 assists. He accumulated close to 3,000 minutes on the pitch. Will the switch to EA Sports LaLiga weigh on him?

3 Possible surprises
Raúl Moro1.790.000€+130.000€ 13
MDThe Catalan has the chance to make a statement and show the quality he has. He has already left evidence of that in the Lazio or Real Valladolid. He has a mission. Will he be able to make people forget Víctor Muñoz's move to Liverpool?
Dubasin3.290.000€+330.000€ -
DLHe arrives after signing a standout season at Sporting, where he was one of the best players in Segunda Division. The step up to the top flight always brings doubts, but he has pace, dribbling and goals to become one of the sensations of the competition if he adapts quickly to elite football.
Raúl García de Haro1.090.000€+90.000€ 0
DLEverything is possible. What if Luis Miguel Ramis decides to play with a double striker? What if Budimir's minutes are shared more even though he's 35? Then Olesa de Monserrat's forward could make a big impact.
2 Possible disappointments
Boyomo1.520.000€-210.000€ 5
DFHe doesn't start out as a clear candidate, but his fantasy output fell significantly last season. After shining in 2024-25, he needs to get back to his best level to establish himself as one of the game's most reliable center-backs. If he falls short again of those performances, he will be one of the team's disappointments.
Rosier1.280.000€+20.000€ 1
DFLast year wasn't his best season either. Injuries held him back for an important stretch of it, and this year it looks like he will start with the same "foot".
