We Launch New Statistics in the Match Previews
At Comuniate we continue improving our tools to make preparing each matchday easier, faster, and also more useful for those of you who play fantasy. From now on, the match previews include two new features designed to provide more context before making important decisions in your lineup: the new comparative team statistics and the block of recent head-to-heads between both teams.
With this improvement, each preview gains depth and offers a more complete reading of the match, not only from the perspective of probable lineups, absences, or recommendations, but also from the analysis of recent performance and the history between the two teams.
New Comparative Statistics
One of the most notable new features is the addition of a new Statistics button within the preview of each match. By clicking it, a window opens with comparative information on both teams, oriented in a very useful way for fantasy.
In this new section, the home team is analyzed by their home performance and the away team by their away performance, something especially interesting because often a teams behavior changes significantly depending on where they play.
Among the data already available are:
- matches played
- wins
- draws
- losses
- goals for
- goals against
- clean sheets
- matches without scoring
- points accumulated
- average goals scored
Additionally, next to each teams name is shown their recent streak under that same condition, that is, their most recent results as home or away. In this way, at a single glance you can tell if a team is strong at home, if it struggles away, if it concedes too many goals, or if it has difficulty creating chances outside its stadium.
Recent Head-to-Heads
The other major new feature is the new recent head-to-heads block, which now appears integrated in the previews. It gathers the most recent encounters between the two teams set to face each other, indicating the season, the matchday, and the final result of each meeting.
This section allows you to better contextualize the match and provides a quick reference about how both teams have performed when they have met in previous seasons. It doesnt replace the current match analysis, but it does add a very interesting historical layer for those who want to review trends, repeated scorelines, or recent precedents before finalizing their starting eleven.
More Context
The goal of these improvements is clear: to offer more useful and organized information without losing speed of consultation. In fantasy, it is not enough to know who may start. It is also important to understand the type of match that may unfold, how each team behaves depending on whether they play home or away, and the recent context of their encounters.
For example, it is very different to line up defenders from a team that is very solid at their stadium than doing so with another that concedes too much away. Nor is it the same to bet on attackers from a team with a good average goal rate at home as it is to do so in a match between two teams with a history of few goals.
With these new statistics and the recent head-to-heads block, Comuniates previews take another step towards becoming an even more complete tool.
