Osasuna and Getafe battle for the signing of Mojica
Johan Mojica is once again stirring up the market after Osasuna entered the fray for his signing. Getafe had the deal pretty much on track with Mallorca, but the red-and-white move opens a new scenario for the Colombian full-back.

The progress of Getafe in talks with Mallorca had put the Azulones in a preferred position. The operation, which seemed well directed, now depends on how Osasuna's interest develops, as the club has joined the fight for the player.
The news was broken by El Chiringuito, through journalist Marcos Benito. According to that information, the Navarrese side has asked about Mojica's situation, the Colombian international and currently a Mallorca player.
Getafe had the edge in the negotiations
The full-back, aged 31, looks set to leave Mallorca during this transfer window. Getafe had already moved things forward to bring him in, but the appearance of Osasuna could change the plans for an operation that is still not closed.
The outcome remains open between two LaLiga clubs interested in the same player. Getafe is looking to wrap up an agreement it had been working on, while Osasuna is trying to make a strong push for Mojica.
