Bayern shuts the door on an Olise exit to Madrid
Madrid's interest in Michael Olise has met with a firm response from Munich. At Bayern, they do not consider parting with the French forward, and their directors have repeated the same message: he is not for sale.

The name of Michael Olise has been firmly placed on the agenda of Real Madrid after Florentino Perez said during the campaign that he was ready to make the biggest financial outlay in football history. In Germany, however, Bayern's stance is unequivocal and does not change even if figures of 100 or 150 million euros are put on the table.
Herbert Hainer, president of the Bavarian club, was the last to make it clear. During a meeting with reporters, according to German media, he responded to the possibility that Madrid would submit a formal proposal for the French player: “Michael Olise is a Bayern player and has a long-term contract. We are not a selling club. If Florentino Perez wants to send us an offer, which has not happened so far, he can save himself the trouble”.
Bayern repeats its stance on Olise
The breakthrough of Olise has not surprised Bayern, which had already expected that his performances would attract the attention of several European giants. The Munich club considers the forward a key piece and has been for weeks publicly making it clear that it has no intention of opening any negotiations.
After the German Cup final, Jose Mourinho being in the stadium sparked rumours of a possible move. Uli Hoeness, Bayern's honorary president, reacted then with a very direct message: “I hope I don't see him. He may have five eyes on Olise, but he won't get him. He is not for sale”.
A month earlier, when the player's name was linked with the Liverpool, Hoeness had already defended the same line. “We play for our fans. We have 430,000 members and millions of followers around the world. But it doesn't help to have 200 million in the bank if it means playing worse football every Saturday”, he recalled.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge also weighed in in April with a historical comparison. The executive explained that in 2009 Bayern received a major offer from Chelsea for Ribery and that, after debating it for two hours, the club set an internal rule: not to sell players considered essential. “And that unwritten rule is still in force today. For a player like Olise, there is no price that would make us hesitate”, he concluded, referring to a possible 200 million euro proposal.
