Bernal was shown a straight red against Barcelona after grabbing Lamine Yamal by the neck and landing two consecutive headbutts to the face. The ball was not in play. Betis appealed the decision, but the Disciplinary Committee rejected the claim and handed him a four-match ban. 

The Verdiblancos will have to reshuffle midfield. The alternative will depend on how Pellegrini wants to set out the positions and on the players available for the next match, but the most likely outcome is a midfield made up of Pablo Fornals, Isco and Marc Roca.

Manu Bueno lost the ball to Martín Satriano and, as the Azulon striker was about to drive towards goal, brought him down as the last defender. The referee judged that he had denied a clear goalscoring opportunity and showed him a straight red.

Peter Kochorashvili is one of the leading options to take his place in midfield. Lucien Agoumé will also have to be taken into account, depending on the set-up the coach chooses.
