The main positive news for Villarreal is the return of Nathan Saliba, who has already completed training with the group.

'Nathan Saliba will be available, knowing that he has an injury, a pain that is quite dangerous if you get it wrong', he explained.

As a result, the midfielder will be in the coach's plans, although his involvement could be limited by the need to avoid a relapse.

Diatta suffers an injury and Carlos Macie0 gains prominence

The bad news is the injury to Alassane Diatta, who picked up a setback in training.

cdf1igo was particularly sorry about his situation, as he feels the young player was making progress and edging closer to opportunities with the first team.

The coach compared him with Carlos Macie0, who has recently carved out a place for himself.

'He had been growing despite not getting minutes, just like Carlos Macie0, who you can now see already has his space', he said.

cdf1igo Pe9rez studies adjustments after the latest defeats

The coach admitted that Villarreal are going through a difficult spell after losing to Espanyol and PSG.

Although he does not intend to make radical changes to his playing model, he is working on new attacking solutions, especially to break down opponents who defend deep near their own goal.

'I do not believe in drastic changes because of defeats. I do believe in analysis and adaptation', he said.

Getafe, an opportunity to respond

cdf1igo Pe9rez believes it is vital to regain confidence before the international break, although he warns that the team must not play with anxiety.

The coach did not confirm any specific changes to the starting XI, but left open the possibility of making adjustments after the latest results, with Saliba once again among the available options.
