Spain face Czechia and England in their final two UEFA Nations League group-stage matches with top spot and a place in the quarter-finals already secured. The squad includes several new faces and four goalkeepers, with Fantasy managers advised to keep a close eye on the impact.

Luis de la Fuente made public this Friday 6 November the Spain squad for the final two fixtures of the UEFA Nations League group stage. The national side will visit Czechia on Thursday 12 November in Prague and host England on Sunday 15 at the Metropolitano in Madrid, with both matches kicking off at 20:45.

Spain go into this international break as group leaders, with a perfect record after taking 12 points from 12, and with qualification for the quarter-finals already secured. The camp will begin on Monday 9 November at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas.

Among the main new additions are Jacobo Ramon, Alvaro Valles and Marc Roca. Also notable is the presence of four goalkeepers in the call-up, something to bear in mind when it comes to the distribution of minutes during the break.

Spain squad

Goalkeepers: Unai Simon (Athletic Club), David Raya (Arsenal), Joan Garcia (Barcelona) and Alvaro Valles (Betis).

Defenders: Aymeric Laporte (Athletic Club), Pau Cubarsi (Barcelona), Marc Pubill (Atletico de Madrid), Dean Huijsen (Real Madrid), Pedro Porro (Tottenham), Jacobo Ramon (Como), Marc Cucurella (Real Madrid) and Alex Grimaldo (Atletico de Madrid).

Midfielders: Fabian Ruiz (PSG), Pedri Gonzalez (Barcelona), Mikel Merino (Arsenal), Martin Zubimendi (Arsenal), Alex Baena (Atletico de Madrid), Fermin Lopez (Barcelona), Pablo Barrios (Atletico de Madrid) and Marc Roca (Betis).

Forwards: Mikel Oyarzabal (Real Sociedad), Ferran Torres (PSG), Roberto Fernandez (Espanyol), Lamine Yamal (Barcelona), Nico Williams (Athletic Club), Yeremy Pino (Crystal Palace) and Ander Barrenetxea (Real Sociedad).

Fantasy angle

The international break is once again a key factor for Fantasy managers, especially for players carrying a heavy minutes load at club level. Players such as Lamine Yamal, Pedri, Nico Williams, Oyarzabal, Grimaldo and Alex Baena will be under the microscope because of their involvement with Spain before LaLiga returns.

With qualification already wrapped up, any possible rotation or sharing of workload across these two matches is only a hypothesis, not a confirmed fact. For now, the only certainty is the squad announced by De la Fuente and the schedule for a side that will close out this group stage against Czechia and England.
