Espanyol - Deportivo

Fecha del partido: 07/11-16:15

RCD Espanyol

Espanyol host Deportivo after getting back to winning ways at Villarreal (0-1), a result that has given the Perico side some breathing space after a poor run of form and their cup exit against Sestao River. The blue and whites are 14th with 11 points and will be looking for their first home win since the opening matchday.

Roger Hinojo will be out through suspension, while Kike Garcia and Jofre Carreras remain injured. Eder Sarabia will also be unable to take his place on the bench because of a suspension, so Jon Lopez and Aitor Unzue will be in charge of the team. Urko Gonzalez, Alex Calatrava and others are carrying fitness issues, although their final availability is still to be confirmed.

The main doubts are as follows: Bauza, Pol Lozano or Urko Gonzalez in midfield, depending on their fitness. Alejandro Santiago also faces competition from Dolan in the attacking area.

Real Club Deportivo de A Coruña

The Galician side travel to Espanyol full of confidence after picking up three points against Osasuna last time out. At last, good feelings translated into points.

Hidalgo is expected to name the same starting XI for the first time this season. The only doubt is whether he will shore up midfield with a third holding midfielder, which would send Luismi to the bench, but that is the least likely option. Aubameyang is already back and Adama is in fine form, but no changes are expected to their current roles. The Gabonese forward will be eased back in without being rushed, while the powerful winger will continue to be the perfect impact substitute.
