Valencia - Real Madrid
Match date: 07/11-21:00
Valencia CF
Valencia are back at home after the long-awaited win last weekend to claim three vital points. It is a very tough fixture for the Che against a Madrid side who are riding high.
Aguirre's men will return to a back five in an attempt to contain Madrid's attacking threat, with Dimitrievski in goal, three centre-backs with Tárrega and Pepelu certain to keep their places and the question of who will join them, De Haas or Arnau. The wing-backs are set to be Gaya and Maffeo, with Guido-Guerra in midfield and Rioja also a clear pick further forward. For the other two spots there are three names in the mix, Danjuma, Mayol or Don Umar.
Aguirre will be looking for a scrappy, muddy game in an effort to blunt Madrid's attacks and nick something from this match, although it remains to be seen whether the team can bring the intensity and sacrifice required, especially with a back five that does not suit them at all.

Real Madrid C.F.
Real Madrid arrive at Mestalla in excellent form, with five straight LaLiga wins and sitting third, three points off the top. Los Blancos are coming off a 0-3 win at Racing Santander and a comeback against AEK Athens (2-3) in the Champions League, sealed by a decisive Fede Valverde goal in stoppage time. Jose Mourinho's side will be looking to extend their good run before the head-to-head between Atletico and Barcelona.
The main absentee will be Vinícius Júnior, who will unfortunately serve the final match of his suspension. Rodrygo and Raúl Asencio will also miss out, while Ferland Mendy remains a doubt with a physical issue. The positive news is the return of Fede Valverde, who came back against AEK and scored the winner. In addition, Arda Güler and Tchouaméni arrive fresh after being left out of the European squad, which boosts their chances of going straight back into the starting XI.
Mourinho looks set to restore his strongest side, with Courtois in goal, Huijsen and Konaté at the heart of defence and Cucurella/Carreras at left-back. Güler and Tchouaméni should regain their places, alongside Bernardo Silva and Bellingham in the creative areas. Up front, Mbappé and Diomande shape as the main threats. The biggest question mark is at left-back, where Álvaro Carreras could return to the starting XI to give Cucurella a rest.
