Elche - Betis
Match date: 08/11-14:00
Elche C.F.
Elche CF host Real Betis this Sunday at the Martinez Valero in a demanding fixture for Martin Anselmi's side, who will be looking to get back to winning ways after the defeat to Valencia. The Franjiverdes will be up against a green-and-white side in good form, one that will demand maximum defensive concentration.
As for the absentees, Marc Aguado remains sidelined with an ankle injury, while Thomas Lemar will also be unavailable because of a muscle problem. The main doubt is Gonzalo Villar, who is carrying discomfort after the last match and whose involvement will depend on how he responds during the week. Yago de Santiago is also still being carefully managed.
At the back, Buba Sangare is ahead of Ruben Sanchez to fill the right-back spot, while Chust and Federico Redondo look set to keep their places in the starting XI. In midfield, Javi Morcillo is gaining ground in the absence of Aguado, likely alongside Gonzalo Villar, provided he recovers in time.
Up front, Fer Nino will continue as the main attacking reference, supported by German Valera, with Lucas Cepeda and Tete Morente competing for one place. Lemar's absence also opens the door for Buonanotte to start, and he could take on a bigger role in the attacking build-up.

Real Betis Balompié
Betis travel to the Martinez Valero sitting in fourth place with 23 points, after beating Malaga 2-1 in their last league outing. Manuel Pellegrini's side, however, arrive with less rest after losing to Borussia Dortmund 2-1 on Wednesday in the Champions League. The packed schedule could lead to a few changes, although the green-and-whites want to cement their place in the European spots before the break.
Cucho Hernandez remains injured and Facundo Bernal is still suspended, so both will miss out. Junior Firpo has returned to training, but he still needs to regain match sharpness and his involvement looks difficult. Alvaro Fidalgo, who did not travel to Dortmund because of a viral illness, could recover in time for Sunday, although his availability is still pending further progress.
Pellegrini could make some rotations after the European exertions. Alvaro Valles looks set to start in goal, with Natan, Bartra, Fran Garcia and Bellerin among the main candidates in defence. Marc Roca and Fornals have a chance of lining up in midfield, while Isco and Abde appear to be key attacking pieces. Antony could be rested, making way for Riquelme, while Troy Parrott is ahead to lead the line in place of the injured Cucho.
