After several weeks sidelined by muscle problems, Ratiu went straight back into Beñat San José's starting XI, reclaiming his spot at right-back at the expense of Iván Balliu. And he couldn't have done it better.

The Romanian international played the full 90 minutes, showed his usual physical intensity, and was a nightmare for Celta's defence.

His big moment came in Rayo's second goal. Ratiu conjured up a spectacular piece of play, with a nutmeg and several dribbles, before setting up Jorge de Frutos, who finished by firing the ball into the top corner. A piece of pure class that quickly became one of the defining images of the matchday.

In addition, the defender completed four dribbles, tried three crosses, and was involved in numerous defensive actions, proving that his return brings far more than just security to the back line.

Great news for Rayo and fantasy managers

His return is also a major boost for fans of fantasy games. Ratiu has qualities that are especially appealing for a defender: attacking depth, the ability to create chances, and a prominent role in his team's play.

The performance against Celta confirms that the niggles seem to be behind him and that the Romanian is ready to get back to being an undisputed starter.

For those who stuck with the player during his absence, patience is starting to pay off. And for the fantasy managers looking to strengthen their defence, his return could make him a very attractive market option once again.

Ratiuninho is back. And if he keeps the level he showed against Celta, more than one manager who sold him during his injury could end up regretting it.
