Xavi Espart replaced by injury in Clasico vs Real Madrid
The young full-back for FC Barcelona had to leave the pitch before the first half-hour was up after suffering discomfort in his right leg. Alejandro Balde came on in his place.

DFThe FC Barcelona suffered a new defensive setback during the Clasico against Real Madrid. Xavi Espart had to be substituted in the 29th minute after physical discomfort prevented him from continuing on the pitch.
The young Barça youth player had taken a blow to his right leg during a challenge for the ball with Aurélien Tchouaméni. Although he tried to keep playing, he ended up requesting the change, forcing Hansi Flick to adjust his defensive setup.
Alejandro Balde was chosen to replace him, taking over at left-back and prompting João Cancelo to move to the right flank.
The situation presents another problem for the German coach, who was already facing the match with the absences of Jules Koundé, Eric García and Andreas Christensen. In addition, Espart had recently suffered ankle discomfort during the Champions League match against PSG.
