The heavy storm that hit Valencia left the pitch at the Ciutat de València in conditions that prevented the game from being played normally. After checking the state of the playing surface and assessing the evolution of the weather, the referee, together with both clubs, decided to suspend the match corresponding to the sixth round of the league.

The forecast also did not point to any immediate improvement, so it was considered that there were no guarantees in place to play the match.

The league issues a statement

The match between Levante UD and Athletic Club corresponding to Matchday 6 of LALIGA EA SPORTS, which was suspended this Wednesday, will be played next Wednesday 21 October at 20:00. 

As always, LALIGA acts with rigor and responsibility, in coordination with the authorities and the various parties involved, to ensure the proper running of the competition and the integrity of the tournament. Guaranteeing legal certainty, competitive equality and compliance with legal obligations in terms of safety and health for participants and the public.

Fantasy

Depending on how you have managed this type of postponed match in the different fantasy leagues, in most leagues, comuniate, biwenger, it will be an extra matchday to be played. In others, the matchday will simply be reopened to recalculate the points from Matchday 6 once the game has finished.
