Vinicius puts Real Madrid on the ropes: his demands and the threat of a sale

Vinicius' contract with Real Madrid ends in June 2027 and both sides have been trying for months to reach an agreement. The Brazilian winger's intention remains to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu, although the financial differences are still considerable.

According to the latest reports, the player's camp is demanding a contract that puts him on a par with the highest-paid players in the squad. Some sources place his demands at close to 30 million euros net per season, while others talk about a lower salary accompanied by significant renewal and loyalty bonuses.

The white club values Vinicius' sporting and commercial importance, but it is not willing to accept any terms. At Real Madrid, they believe that going beyond certain amounts could break the squad's wage structure and make future renewals more complicated.

For this reason, Florentino Perez and the sporting directorate want the Brazilian to lower his demands. The priority objective is still to renew, but as the weeks go by, pressure is increasing on all parties.
