The situation of Cardoso takes a turn, although only partially. The defender was present in the initial talk by García Plaza and will take part again in collective training after several months working on his own.

His return does not, for now, change the sporting stance of the Sevilla FC. The Portuguese player still is not in the coach's plans, something that was already communicated to him earlier, and the club keeps the search for an exit open. With most of the transfer windows already closed and few options available, Cardoso will at least continue to work apart from the rest of the squad.

There is a different situation for Sangante. The centre-back attended the pre-training talk, but the discomfort he has been carrying in his ankle has not yet gone away.
