The Betis sporting management has not yet closed the casting for that position. Manu Fajardo is handling several alternatives and the Brazilian, 23 years old, is already among the most serious options to renew the left side at La Palmera.

Kaiki Bruno had already appeared weeks ago as a player who was highly liked at Betis. Now, according to information published by Diario de Sevilla, his candidacy has advanced to be on the shortlist of possible signings. He is not the only name on the table, but he is one of the most convincing within the Betis structure.

Price and passport, the two main obstacles

The first problem lies in the valuation made by Cruzeiro. The Brazilian club would ask for between 12 and 15 million euros to let the full-back go, a high figure for an operation of this profile, even with Betis' favorable European context. A formula with future percentages, as has already been used in other negotiations with América, could appear as a way to reach an agreement.

The second condition has to do with his nationality. Kaiki Bruno would occupy a non-EU spot and the squad already has Antony, Natan, Deossa, and Petit in that situation. The club considers that at least the center-back and the forward could leave, while the midfielder might also receive offers.

Planning remains open. The sporting management is working with two other good level options, some of which may be more viable price-wise. Before accelerating any scenario, the team still has to finish the season with the match against Levante and, from there, the club will move forward step by step in each possibility.
