What happens to the Fantasy points for Rayo-Athletic after their suspension in Comunio?

Comunio has published an official statement to clarify how the points for players from both teams will be handled and what will happen if the match is played after matchday has been processed.

If the match is resumed before the calculation of matchday 8

If Rayo-Athletic can be completed before Comunio carries out the final points calculation for matchday 8, there will be no change to the usual procedure.

The scores and final ratings of all players will be counted, as happens in any other LaLiga match.

What happens if the match is resumed after the points calculation?

This is the scenario that raises the most questions among Fantasy users.

If the game is not completed before matchday processing, Comunio will initially use the provisional scores corresponding to the first 13 minutes played.

The platform has also explained that SofaScore has temporarily removed the ratings of the affected players, which has caused those scores to disappear from the game.

However, Comunio has announced that it will reintroduce during the night of Saturday the SofaScore ratings that the players had at the time of the suspension.

The points will be updated once the match ends

Once Rayo Vallecano and Athletic Club play the remaining minutes, Comunio will update individually the scores of all the players involved.

This update will affect both the players who took part during the first 13 minutes and those who may only be able to feature in the resumption.

In this way, the provisional scores will be replaced by the final ratings and points corresponding to the full match.

What should Fantasy users do?

For now, Comunio users will not need to carry out any special management. The scores will be calculated according to the criteria announced by the platform and will be corrected once the match ends.

The main uncertainty remains the date of the resumption of Rayo-Athletic, which will determine whether the final scores can be included in the usual calculation for matchday 8 or whether they will need to be updated later.

From Comuniate, we will keep an eye on developments regarding the match and on any decision that could affect Fantasy players.
