In recent hours, El Nacional has reported that the FC Barcelona have taken another step in their pursuit of the player after holding a meeting with the agents of the player in Santander. According to that information, the meeting was used to confirm that the Blaugrana side still see Salinas as one of their future priorities.

Racing does not lower its demands

While interest from top clubs continues to grow, the Racing stance remains unchanged.
With promotion to La Liga, the release clause for Jorge Salinas was set at 16 million euros, a figure that the Cantabrian club considers non-negotiable. From the club's perspective, losing one of the biggest talents to emerge in recent years would only make sense if an offer arrives that reaches that amount.

Barcelona studies different options
