FC Barcelona has already formalized a proposal to acquire Jesse Bisiwu, an 18-year-old winger from Club Brugge, and awaits the Belgian club's response. Meanwhile, the agreement with the player is well underway after talks with his representatives.

The operation is being shaped as a future bet: a young profile, with potential and growth margin, to bring him in for the next season.

Offer submitted and negotiations underway

Barça's move for Bisiwu has entered a decisive phase. According to recent reports, the Blaugrana club has already made an offer to Club Brugge through the player's agents, and now the next step depends on the response from Belgium. The attacker has a contract in force until 2027, a detail that conditions the negotiation.

Behind the scenes, work with the player is progressing in parallel. Joao Amaral, head of the scouting department, has led the conversations to bring positions closer with Bisiwu, who would be keen to wear the Barcelona shirt starting next season.

The roadmap considered at Camp Nou involves a formula recently used: taking on a contained transfer fee and, initially, placing him in the reserve team structure to gradually integrate him into the first team's dynamics.

The interest goes back a long way. In January, Deco, the sporting director, and Amaral traveled to Belgium to open talks with Club Brugge's sporting director, Devy Rigaux. Additionally, agent Mobindi Marthy had already publicly indicated that contacts existed, while the presence of Barça scouts at the Youth League 'final four' served as another sign of last-minute monitoring.
