Athletic Club have received good news in their build-up to Saturday's match against Osasuna, in the 12th round of LaLiga. Thursday's session confirmed the return to full team training of Nico Williams and Yuri Berchiche.
The two players had trained separately from the group on Wednesday as part of workload management. This morning, both rejoined the squad as normal, a development that gives Edin Terzic more options for the trip to El Sadar.
The day also brought several absences from the red-and-white squad. Nico Serrano, Paredes and Djaló continue to train away from their team-mates, so their progress will remain under observation over the next few days.
On the positive side, Sancet and Ruiz de Galarreta remain integrated into the team dynamic after overcoming their respective muscle injuries. Their presence broadens the German coach's options for the clash with Osasuna.
Athletic head into the final training sessions before the match with the return of Nico Williams and Yuri Berchiche as the main new development. The Bilbao side therefore approach Saturday's fixture with several key players available, although the cases of those still working away from the group remain unresolved.
