Real Sociedad are looking to bounce back this weekend after the heavy blow they took in the derby against Athletic Club, a setback that ended their superb run of four straight league wins.

The side come into this fixture with the fatigue of having played their Europa League match against Olympique de Lyon, which will force the coaching staff to shuffle the pack.

As a result, a few small changes are expected in the starting XI, with the clear aim of taking all three points and rediscovering their good form in the league.

Rayo Vallecano

After last week's convincing win, Rayo are looking to keep the momentum going after their two most recent results: Recre in the Copa and Celta. 

Alongside the well-known absentees Batalla and Luiz Felipe, Alvaro is added to the list, as are the near-certain absences of Kumbulla and Oscar Valentin.

The line-up will be very familiar, with Sadik and Pathe Ciss in the starting XI and the return of Tsitaishvili. The main doubt, though, is whether Pedro Diaz keeps his place or Isi comes in behind the striker.
