It is their turn in Matchday 11
There is a category of players that deserves special recognition: those who have been watching for weeks as their teammates take the spotlight, the applause, and the only thing that matters to us managers, really, are the points. Who are the chosen ones? It is their turn
Everything comes, mate. Even that starting spot for the player who is only held up by his coach's faith and his manager's patience. Don't lose heart, friend. He will be the one to smile.
The ball doesn't want him and it's not his fault. He tries, he looks for it, he offers himself...but it all seems like a textbook toxic relationship. Not together, not apart, but never stopping the attempt.
Until one day ...boom!!! Goal, assist, a great performance and 12 points in the bag. From a spare part to a star in 90 minutes. Football is that kind of dog.
That is why, in this matchday, we put the spotlight on those players who have been promising for weeks and not delivering, and much less actually coming through. Because someone is about to wake up. Or that's what we want to believe, since for selling smoke we already have plenty with the transfer market.
Parrot6.980.000€-350.000€3
DLIt is said in the football gossip circles of Dublin that Troy Parrott is going to be one of the great footballers in the history of Ireland. And it's not like the bar is so high that you can clear it with a pole, to be honest.
Even so, we are willing to bet. The Cucho injury opens up an incredible opportunity for a player who, in Comunio terms, has just 7 miserable points over the last 4 matchdays. We don't think there is going to be a better time to turn things around than an Andalusian derby against bottom side Málaga.
The 'Parrot' has to take off.
Bernardo Silva5.700.000€+60.000€1
MDBernardo Silva has 3 miserable points in his last 3 matches, but the really good thing is that at this stage of the season you also don't need to mortgage the house to sign him.
Little by little he is starting to show up regularly among the starting XI and you can begin to sense that player who carries the ball glued to his foot, breaks through and fires a dry shot after a dribble.
Real Madrid are riding a high after beating the Clasico and the Portuguese has an excellent chance to capitalize on that incredible positive momentum in the next matchday.
Enes Ünal4.810.000€+150.000€3
DLA tough time for Enes Ünal at Getafe. An unstable dressing room, Bordalás as he used to say back then, messing it up
