Elche - Valencia
Match date: 01/11-18:30
Elche C.F.
Elche host Valencia at the Martínez Valero at a great moment of form, after four matchdays without losing and three consecutive clean sheets. The emphatic 0-3 win against Rayo Vallecano has boosted confidence among the franjiverdes, who will look to extend their good run against a Valencia side in need of points and dealing with a difficult situation in the standings.
Martín Anselmi will still be unable to call on Marc Aguado, who is injured with a twisted ankle, so Javi Morcillo looks set to stay in the middle of the park alongside Gonzalo Villar. In defence, Federico Redondo and Víctor Chust start as favourites, with Buba Sangaré ahead of Rubén Sánchez and Roy Revivo settled on the left flank. Kevin Lomónaco made a good impression in his cup debut, although it still seems complicated for him to displace one of the usual starters.
In attack, Germán Valera and Thomas Lemar arrive as two of the most reliable players in the squad, while Lucas Cepeda has the edge over Tete Morente after the Copa rotations. The main uncertainty is Fer Niño, who is carrying lumbar discomfort and will have to compete with Abiel Osorio and an Ezequiel Ponce who has been strengthened after his brace in the cup. Elche will try to take advantage of their defensive solidity and the pace of their attackers to get the better of a Valencia side that will arrive with important absences, including Harvey Elliott through suspension and David Otorbi through injury.
Possible XI: Dituro; Buba Sangaré, Chust, Federico Redondo, Roy Revivo; Javi Morcillo, Gonzalo Villar, Thomas Lemar; Lucas Cepeda, Fer Niño and Germán Valera.

Valencia CF
Aguirre's Valencia is starting to get stuck in a rut, three matchdays without a win and visiting an Elche that has gone 4 games without losing. The team arrives with the absences of Otorbi due to injury and Elliott due to suspension.
There are no expected changes in the defensive line or in goal, while in midfield it seems that Pepelu is settling in alongside Javi and ahead of Guido. With a lack of attacking effectiveness, the doubts remain over the main reference, between Danjuma and Duro, with the wide areas practically defined by Raba and Rioja.
The visitors need a win badly against a rival who at home is going to make it difficult for them; we'll see if Aguirre finds the right answer and whether the players want to win the match, otherwise Aguirre would start to see Corberán's face...
