Villarreal lose eleven players during the international break

The Yellow Submarine is one of the teams most affected, with eleven players spread across Europe, America, Africa and Asia. The international window in September and October will allow up to four matches to be played and will keep LaLiga on hold for several weeks.

A call-up with several headline names

Canada brings together Buchanan, Oluwaseyi and Nathan Saliba, while Freeman will play four friendlies with the United States. Mouriño faces an Asian tour with Uruguay ; Pape Gueye, Pépé and Logan Costa will compete in Africa; Mikautadze and Renato Veiga will take part in the Nations League. Carlos Maciá completes the list with the Spain Under-19 camp.

How could it affect things in fantasy terms?

Mouriño, Freeman and the three Canadians will face the biggest travel. The coaching staff will need to keep a close eye on the usual starters and on those who will play three or four matches before returning to La Cerámica.
