Aubameyang and Amatucci work on the side: Depor explains the reason
Deportivo has confirmed that Aubameyang and Amatucci carried out personalized work during this Friday's session. At the moment, there is no concern about either of them, and everything points to a load-management plan ahead of the match against Betis.
Real Club Deportivo de A Coruña
Personalized work for Aubameyang and Amatucci
The RC Deportivo continues to prepare for this Sunday's clash against the Real Betis, and Friday's session has left two notable absences from the group work: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Lorenzo Amatucci.
The club from A Coruna itself explained that both players did personalized work because they are two of the players with the highest minutes load in a particularly demanding week, with three matches in just a few days.
Therefore, for the moment there is no evidence of injury or any physical problem for either player. Everything suggests a preventive measure by Antonio Hidalgo's coaching staff to manage workloads and arrive in the best possible conditions for matchday 7.
Pending the Saturday training session
The progress of both players will need to be confirmed in the last training session on Saturday, scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. at the Dépor Training Center.
As of today, both Aubameyang and Amatucci still have options to be available against Betis, although it will be necessary to check whether they return to group training before assuming their participation is assured.
Aubameyang deserves special attention, one of the team's main attacking references and also an important player in fantasy terms. It doesn't seem like a time to sound the alarms, but we recommend staying alert to Saturday's training and to Antonio Hidalgo's subsequent comments.
The Deportivo-Betis match will be played on Sunday, September 20, at 6:30 p.m. at Riazor.
