Florentino secretly activates a new obsession

The transfer market has not yet officially started, and in Italy a new name is already being linked to Real Madrid: Kenan Yildiz. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the young Turkish talent would be one of the footballers that Florentino Pérez likes the most for the future.

The phrase attributed to Florentino has spread like wildfire: “He is Florentino Pérez’s boy of desires”.

Yildiz is 21 years old and has become one of the great jewels of Juventus. Quality, boldness, personality, and huge potential. The type of footballer that Madrid has been searching for years in the market: young players with the potential to dominate European football for a decade.

At the white offices they know him well. In fact, he left very good impressions when he played in the Champions League against the white team this season. Since then, his name has not disappeared from the club’s internal reports.

The operation is far from simple. Juventus recently renewed the Turk until 2030 and has no intention of selling him. The problem for the Italians is that they could be excluded from the next Champions League, something that would force the club, possibly, to sell some important star.

If Juventus needs money, Yildiz could become a market opportunity… although it certainly wouldn’t be cheap. In Italy they are already talking about a deal close to 100 million euros.

At Madrid the priorities seem quite clear this summer: strengthen defense and midfield. Also, in attack there is overbooking and the name of Nico Paz remains on the table as a real future option.

Even so, when Florentino Pérez falls in love football-wise with someone, it is never wise to discard anything. Yildiz fits perfectly into that policy of young galactic signings that has brought so much success to the club in recent years.

For now everything is in the rumor phase, but the summer is long. And when Real Madrid is linked to a European jewel, you always have to stay alert.
