The Valencia have many problems in attack and have only managed to find the net in one of the 5 matches played; in addition, the Alavés shows its best version in the matches it plays at home.

Taking into account the risk involved in recommending for a midweek matchday, we are going to opt for the rojiblanco defender. Cholo's variations place him in more advanced positions than usual for a centre-back, and his defensive security makes him a candidate to grab a good haul of points.
