The return of Borja Iglesias is one of the main pieces of news for Celta. The forward received medical clearance this Sunday after overcoming a minor muscle injury and will be in the squad for the first time this season.

His involvement, though, will have to be measured. Claudio Giráldez explained that the attacker is still not ready to play a full match: "For ninety minutes he is not, but he has completed two training sessions at the same pace as the rest and he can help us".

The other new face is Sebastián Cáceres. The centre-back comes into the group after completing just two training sessions, replacing Abdoulaye Faye, who is left out by technical decision. Giráldez justified his choice by saying that "Cáceres is more prepared than Faye" for the match. On the young Senegalese defender, he added: "He has to mature in certain game situations".

Iván Villar also returns, having been absent from the trip to San Sebastián due to his mother's death. The goalkeeper is again available, although the coach will have to make a cut among the three keepers named.

Who is still not in a position to return is Aleix Febas. The midfielder is dealing with the effects of the knock to his side that he suffered against Athletic Club, discomfort that even caused him difficulties breathing normally. Giráldez has already decided to give him a rest against Real Sociedad and confirmed that the player "has not been able to complete any of the training sessions", which is why he will not travel to Madrid.

Andrés Antañón will also not be available for Getafe. The coach pointed to the accumulated fatigue from the player to explain his absence: "Antañón played two days or three before Anoeta, travel... He was going to be tired".

Giráldez acknowledged that communicating this kind of omissions is part of the least pleasant moments of his job. "It's our job, it's not the most pleasant thing in the world, especially when you see that people work, train and add to their tally. We stick to what I always do: try to think about what's best for the team in each match and have the greatest number of options, from the start and from the bench, to impose ourselves on the opponent".

The game comes at a particularly hectic time for the Vigos. After the postponement of the clash against Osasuna due to the fungus detected on the pitch at Balaídos and the rescheduling of the fixture against Real Sociedad because the sixth matchday coincides with the Europa League, the team will face five league matches in just 17 days.

After drawing 0-0 at Anoeta last Thursday, the next commitment will be at the Coliseum. Celta will visit Getafe this Monday from 19.00.
