The Getafe CF has already confirmed its lineup to face Partizan of Belgrade in the first leg of the European tie and José Bordalás has left little doubt about how much he values the match. The blue-and-ones coach fields a very recognizable XI, with several players who were also starters in their league opener against Deportivo Alavés.

Getafe CF

The Getafe XI is made up of David Soria; Kiko Femenía, Djené, Abdel Abqar, Zaid Romero, Johan Mojica; Orel Mangala, Francho Serrano, Ramón Terrats; Enes Ünal and Martín Satriano.

Fantasy alert: Sunday brings Racing

The lineup takes on special importance for managers of Comunio, Biwenger, Futmondo and LaLiga Fantasy, as Getafe will be back in action in just three days. The blue team will host Racing de Santander on Sunday, August 23 at 19:30 in the Coliseum, for the second matchday of LaLiga.

This leaves a limited recovery window and means you need to be especially attentive to the minutes each player logs against Partizan.

Players who complete practically the entire European match could slightly increase their risk of rotation against Racing, especially considering that Getafe will also have to play the return leg of the European tie the following Thursday in Belgrade.

Mario Martín, Davinchi and Andrés García start on the bench

Precisely, there are three names who could come out stronger for matchday 2: Mario Martín, Davinchi and Andrés García.

All three started against Alavés but begin on the bench against Partizan. If their minutes in the European game are limited, they would arrive much fresher for the league fixture and their chances of returning to the XI against Racing could increase.

Mario Martín deserves special attention, as his absence from the European XI allows Francho Serrano to make his debut as a starter after his recent arrival at the blue-and-ones side. Johan Mojica also starts, while Enes Ünal partners Satriano up front. All three signings were presented by the club this same week.

A match to take plenty of notes

The tie against Partizan will therefore be very important for fantasy. More than the starting XI, you will need to analyze which players complete the 90 minutes, who is substituted early, and which reserve players Bordalás uses during the second half.

As of today, Mario Martín, Davinchi and Andrés García benefit from starting on the bench, while names like Djené, Abqar, Zaid Romero, Mangala, Terrats and Satriano will need to be monitored due to the accumulation of minutes.

The XI for Sunday against Racing could depend largely on what happens tonight in the Coliseum.
