Barcelona meddles in Rodri's move to Real Madrid
Rodri Hernández's future is starting to become one of the big focuses of the transfer market. According to Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona has contacted both Rodri's camp and Manchester City to gather information about a possible transfer for the Spanish international.
The Blaugrana move comes at a particularly important time, since, according to the same information, the Real Madrid has been holding talks with Manchester City for several weeks. However, the Whites would not have wanted to rush the deal yet because they knew that other major European clubs could join the race.

Rodri's decision could be key
Romano points out that much of what happens from now on will depend on the player's own wishes. The midfielder still belongs to Manchester City, and any deal will also require reaching an agreement with the English club.
Barcelona's entry therefore adds a new ingredient to a move that seemed to have Real Madrid as its main protagonist. The Whites have been keeping tabs on the Ballon d'Or winner for some time, but now they could find themselves with their eternal rival trying to convince the player.
