Nobel Mendy, imminent
Betis will pocket between four and five million if Nobel Mendy signs for Hull City, weeks after selling him to Rayo Vallecano.

DFJust a few weeks ago, Betis completed the sale of Nobel Mendy to Rayo Vallecano. The centre-back had not even made an official debut for the Madrid club and is already on the verge of changing shirts again, in a deal that could bring a significant financial gain for both Rayo and the green-and-white club.
The Hull City have stepped up negotiations to sign the Senegalese defender. The operation, according to Matteo Moretto, is around 20 million euros in fixed fees plus another five in add-ons. A spectacular jump in value if you consider that Rayo paid around 3.5 million euros for his signing last June.
The big beneficiary will be the Madrid club, which would secure a huge profit without Mendy ever playing a single official match. In short, a 12.5 million euros profit on a player who "hasn't put on the shirt".
But Betis will also come out of the deal very well, because in the sale to Rayo they reserved 20% of a future transfer, meaning they could receive close to four million euros, a figure that would increase with training compensation rights, given that it is an international transfer, to which the 3.5 million from the transfer would be added; in total, nearly 8,000,000 million euros.
The deal confirms Betis's success in negotiating the player's exit. The club not only secured a transfer for a player who had grown between the B team and the first team, but also ensured participating in a future sale that has arrived much earlier than expected. That said, if they had kept him, they would have earned a lot more, but the green-and-white side hasn't done badly at all with this operation.
If nothing goes wrong, Mendy will head to England without having worn the Rayo shirt in an official competition, leaving a perfect deal for both Spanish clubs.
As for fantasy, we'll have to stay very alert to sell mendy as soon as possible. His exit is imminent, and we have no doubts that the deal will go through.
