Gonzalo signs for Fulham for a fortune
The academy is once again set to carry major financial weight at Real Madrid. Gonzalo García will play next season at Fulham after an agreement was reached between the white club and the English side.

The forward's transfer will be finalized for a figure close to the 70 million euros. As part of the deal, the Real Madrid retains a preferential buy option on the player, according to Cadena COPE.
Other sources, such as the daily Marca, report that it would be 40 million euros for the 70% of the player.
Gonzalo García will join Fulham, where he will be under the orders of Álvaro Arbeloa. The academy product comes from featuring in 39 matches with the first team during the previous campaign, in which he scored 8 goals, six of them in LaLiga.
The attacker's departure adds to other recent deals involving players developed at La Fábrica. To the 70 million for Gonzalo are added the proceeds from Nico Paz (60), Víctor Muñoz (20), Álvaro Rodríguez (12.5), Rafa Marín (15), Álex Jiménez (12.5), Mario Martín (3.5) and Fran García (4).
