The transfer market starts to move with force around Carlos Espí. The Levante forward, with a 25 million euro release clause, is on the radar of several European clubs as the Granota club weighs up a sale due to its financial situation.

Carlos Espí's season did not go unnoticed at Orriols. At 21, the Tavernes attacker became a decisive piece in Levante's survival, scored eleven goals and gained weight in the side until he left Etta Eyong on the bench, one of the team's important names.

During the summer, the club's offices received calls from Spanish and European teams interested in learning the status of the academy player. In the last few hours, that momentum has intensified, with the Premier League and the Calcio appearing as markets especially attentive to the future of the Valencian forward.

Bologna was one of the clubs that had shown interest in signing Carlos Espí, although a possible move has been complicated by the progress of the Dovbyk operation. England now looks like a destination with real pull for the player, but Levante maintains a firm stance: it does not want to let him go for less than his release clause, set at 25 million euros.

The club's position was already reflected in the words of its president, Pablo Sánchez, at the end of last season. Asked about the future of the attacker, he said that “the club has an important opportunity to reduce debt. We can't clip his wings if he wants to grow. Part of that percentage will go to debt repayment”.
