The FC Augsburg goalkeeper has become an option that appeals to the txuri urdin sporting directorate thanks to his consistency and the high level he showed during last season in the Bundesliga.

At 28 years old, Dahmen is going through the best moment of his career. Trained in the Mainz youth system, he finally established himself at Augsburg, where he has earned the starting spot thanks to his reflexes, composure in goal and good footwork, a trait that is especially valued in Real Sociedad's style of play.
