Julián Álvarez's future is heating up again, and Arsenal want to take advantage of the moment. According to The Independent, at the Emirates they believe there are real options to unlock a deal that seemed stuck just a few weeks ago.

After exploring the possibility of signing Bradley Barcola, the high financial demands of the PSG have led the 'gunners' to focus all their efforts on Julián. The goal is clear: to bring in a top-class striker and the Argentine has become an absolute priority.

Andrea Berta, the current sporting director of the Arsenal and a deep expert on the Atlético de Madrid after his time at the rojiblanco club, is already working to narrow the gap. The plan is to get the agreement with all parties in order before the player returns from the World Cup so he can then decide his future.

The information suggests that Julián Álvarez continues to give priority to the Barça, although he has not closed the door on the Arsenal. That stance keeps the English club's hopes alive, as they believe it is very unlikely that the Atlético will end up negotiating a sale with the Blaugrana club.
