Spartak move speeds up for Víctor Parada and Alavés prepares its exit

Sergio Fernández was the one who gave voice to the situation of the player. The sporting director of the Alavés explained that Parada will leave the club “in the coming”, without specifying the team he will be heading to, despite the fact that negotiations with the Spartak of Moscow are in their final stretch.

A youth product with experience before settling in LaLiga

The deal that Alavés and Spartak of Moscow are preparing would affect a player developed in the blue-and-white academy. Parada came through the club's lower ranks and, after several loan spells, made his debut with the first team in 2023, in a Copa del Rey match against Villarreal.

His growth had an important chapter in Miranda de Ebro. In the 2024-25 season, he played 39 matches in Segunda División for Mirandés, a team with which he came very close to winning promotion.

Last season helped him gain weight at Deportivo Alavés. In his most stable debut within the top flight, the player took part in 30 league matches and also added three appearances in the Cup.

In the deal, there is a familiar link for the Vitoria surroundings. Juan Carlos Carcedo, the Rioja-born coach based in Vitoria, is currently the manager of the Moscow side that is looking to sign the versatile player.

Sergio Fernández, aside from this case, made the club's general line in the summer market clear. The sporting director said that the main goal is “to keep all assets” and added: “If we are able to do that and take a step forward would be the best news”. The Alavés spokesperson stressed that they do not want to sell players unless “ideal circumstances for all parties” arise.
