Sevilla's planning has one absolute priority: to sell. The club needs to generate income to balance its books and the sporting directorate is working on several deals that will provide some breathing room for the finances before taking on new signings.

One of the most advanced moves has Chidera Ejuke as its main focus. The Nigerian winger is very close to returning to the Belgian league after Anderlecht prepared an offer close to 3.5 million euros, a figure that could reach four million with add-ons. In Nervion, they believe the proposal is reasonable and talks are progressing in a positive direction.

The departure of the attacker comes as no surprise after a season shaped by physical problems. A groin injury halted his continuity and he was able to play in just 25 official matches, in which he recorded one goal and one assist. A performance far removed from the expectations he had generated after joining the club.

Ejuke still has a strong reputation in Belgium, where he left a big mark during his time at the Royal Antwerp. In the 2023-24 season, he played 35 matches, scored five goals and provided four assists, confirming the level he had also shown previously at the CSKA Moscow, Heerenveen and Valerenga.
