Getafe paves the way for the arrival of Jean Ives Valou from Villarreal

The name of Valou had already appeared in the plans of the Getafe during the winter window. That route was put on hold after the arrival of Boselli, which kept the defender in the structure of the Villarreal until the final stretch of the season.

The formula being considered now is a loan, according to information provided by Juancar Navacerrada. The deal is well advanced, although it still remains to be resolved whether the agreement will or will not include a purchase option. It is not closed.

A season of weight with the yellow reserve team

Jean Ives Valou arrives in this scenario after putting together a very solid campaign with the yellow reserve team. An international at youth levels with Costa de Marfil, the defender has played 41 official matches and has established himself as one of the key pieces in the squad.

That performance has also led several clubs to keep a close eye on his progress. At the Coliseum , they believe the centre-back can carry on that growth and strengthen the heart of the defence with a young bet, with present and future.
