Elche has not taken long to start looking for solutions after the departure of Álex Febas. The midfielder announced his move to Celta and the club is already working to find a profile capable of continuing the midfield role. One of the names they like the most is Dani Villahermosa.

The player from Andorra has had a very solid season and has caught the attention of several teams after becoming a regular starter. At 25 years old, he feels ready to take a step up and Elche's interest comes at an important moment in his career.

Villahermosa has played 40 matches this season, with seven goals and eight assists, numbers that explain why his name is starting to be heard outside Andorra. He is not just a creative midfielder. He has goal threat, energy, and the ability to appear in attacking zones without losing order in his play.

At Elche they believe he can fit well in the new phase the club is starting after a summer full of changes. The departure of Sarabia and Febas’s farewell force a partial reconstruction of the project, and the sporting management has already started contacts to get ahead of other potential suitors.

Raised in the Espanyol youth system and now established at Andorra, Villahermosa seems ready to test himself in the First Division. And at Martínez Valero they see in him a bet with room to grow and immediate impact.
