The return of André Almeida to the Racing starting XI already took place at Balaídos, where he started against Celta after serving a suspension. Now, the Portuguese will also be available for a date marked out on the calendar: the Cantabrian side's visit to Valencia CF, scheduled for the 11th of October at 9:00 p.m..

According to information from 'Tribuna Deportiva', the player will not have to miss out for contractual reasons. Racing Santander made a small payment to cancel the so-called fear clause, meaning it will be up to the coaching staff to decide whether or not to include him against the team he belongs to.

Almeida arrived on loan in Santander at the end of the summer transfer window and remains under contract with Valencia until June 2029. If José Alberto López considers it appropriate, he could be on the pitch at Mestalla.

The midfielder had been sent off last September 12 in Racing's 2-1 win over Alavés. A tough challenge in the 89th minute ended in a red card after VAR intervened to change the referee's initial decision.

The Portuguese served his suspension match in the heavy defeat against Barcelona at the Camp Nou (7-2), although he traveled with his teammates. He later regained a starting spot at Balaídos, a match in which Racing again suffered a harsh result as they lost 5-0 to Celta.

After those two consecutive defeats, it remains to be seen what decisions José Alberto López will make for the next fixture and whether any possible changes to the starting XI will affect André Almeida.
