Tchouaméni and Valverde clash again and the Uruguayan ends up in the hospital

According to information provided by the MARCA newspaper, the episode comes just one day after another clash between the two footballers and in a context of extreme tension inside the locker room.

They crossed the line again during training

Fede Valverde went to the hospital after being involved in a fight with Aurélien Tchouaméni during Thursday’s session in Valdebebas. The incident, occurring after Wednesday’s confrontation, ended with the Uruguayan at the Sanitas clinic in Ciudad Deportiva for a procedural check.

The altercation started during training, in an atmosphere described as very tense. According to the report, the argument had been building since the start of the session, when Valverde refused to greet the Frenchman, and the climate between them escalated during the group work.

The situation ended up getting out of control and the Real Madrid second captain was left with a cut, although the blow was not a direct consequence of Tchouaméni. The information indicates that the wound was caused by an accident in the locker room, when Valverde hit a central table while they were arguing.

After being discharged, Valverde returned to Ciudad Deportiva accompanied by Mina Bonino. In addition, the club reportedly opened a disciplinary file against both the Uruguayan midfielder and Tchouaméni.

The same report adds that the locker room is going through an especially delicate moment, with other recent episodes of tension. Among them, a face-off between Mbappé and Vinicius, with shouting but no physical contact, and another incident in the dining hall where Rüdiger reportedly struck Carreras, with both ending up on the floor.
