The Manchester United academy product, aged 21, arrived at the yellow side two seasons ago for 10 million euros. Last season he barely managed to play, featuring in just two matches in May after suffering a serious knee injury with a ligament rupture.

The player does not seem to be in Iñigo Pérez's plans for next season and, according to AS journalist Javier Mata, Braulio Vázquez was at Villarreal last Wednesday, showing an interest in his situation.
