Barcelona's medical staff is once again shaping Hansi Flick's plans. The German coach could face the next league fixture without Rodri, although he also has reasons for optimism about the possible return of several defensive players.

The Spanish international did not play the second half of the match against Aston Villa after noticing discomfort in the hamstring of his right leg. The first assessments advise caution, and this Wednesday he is expected to undergo tests to determine whether there is an injury.

His involvement against Atlético looks extremely complicated. The coaching staff is aware that pushing his return could worsen the muscle problem, so Flick does not seem willing to take unnecessary risks.
