Oroz, Del Castillo and Herrando continue recovering
Jagoba Arrasate provided positive updates on the three injured players, although they will still need time before returning to competition.
«Jorge will be back soon. Aimar and Del Castillo are doing well, although it is taking them longer than we thought. I think that when the international break ends, you will see the three of them in good shape»
Therefore, Herrando could be the first to rejoin the group, while Oroz and Del Castillo are targeting a return after the international break.
Rockson Yeboah gains options
The coach highlighted the progress of Rockson Yeboah, who is responding positively to the tactical work of the coaching staff.
«He has a very big potential. He is an alternative for us, for any La Liga match, because I see him improving more and more»
His strong recent performances could translate into more opportunities in the coming matches, although Arrasate did not confirm that he will start.
Asier Bonel needs continuity
Regarding Asier Bonel, the coach asked for patience after a spell with little competitive action due to an injury and his commitments with Spain's lower youth categories.
«He needs continuity and minutes in competition»
Arrasate explained that he wants to keep monitoring his progress, so his involvement with the first team will depend on how he regains his rhythm.
Arrasate announces changes to the starting XI
The coach confirmed that there will be changes to the lineup against Deportivo, both due to the opponent's characteristics and the conclusions drawn from the Copa match.
«There will be changes, because it is another game, because it is also a different plan»
He also believes it is necessary to improve attacking output from the flanks, making better use of the qualities of Rubén García and Dubasin.
Osasuna will look to recover their competitiveness away from El Sadar against a Deportivo that Arrasate considers especially dynamic and dangerous with the ball.
