Málaga CF suffer unexpected setback before Betis trip
El Málaga CF heads to its visit to the Real Betis with another setback in the squad. Ángel Recio has been unable to train this Friday due to a viral illness, bringing the number of players who did not take part in the last session of preparation for the blanquiazul side up to six.

The Málaga squad trained this morning at La Rosaleda, where the coaching staff put together a session focused on ball work and the tactical preparation for the next match. The session began at the 10:30 hours with activation exercises and a rondo in a group, before moving on to different technical-tactical tasks and strategy actions on the main pitch.

DFThe main news was the absence of Ángel Recio, who could not take part due to "a viral illness". The defender thus joins the five players who were already working separately: Joaquín Muñoz, Pablo Martínez, Ochoa, Juan Cruz and Lobete. For now, it has not been confirmed whether this health issue will keep Recio out of the Betis match.
On the positive side, Murillo continues training normally alongside the rest of his teammates. Juani also remains involved in first-team training, after getting the chance to make his debut last Tuesday in the Copa del Rey match against Alcázar de San Juan.
