Atletico lose three players for Deportivo visit: Koke, Romero

The Atletico de Madrid squad for matchday 10 of LaLiga is marked by the absences of Koke, Cristian Romero and Johnny Cardoso. All three players miss the game against Deportivo due to injury.

The absence of Koke is the most notable. The club has confirmed that the captain is dealing with a muscle injury in his left thigh, which is why he is not included in the squad.

In midfield, Johnny Cardoso is also unavailable, with a low-grade muscle injury in his thigh diagnosed during this week. In the defensive line, Cristian Romero misses out due to a minor adductor injury that he has been carrying since the last match.

The main new development in the list is the inclusion of Salvador Esquivel as the third goalkeeper. The academy product joins Oblak and Musso in a squad with three goalkeepers.
