Let's go with names to target before the start of the tenth matchday of the league. This matchday's buyout window closes on October 22, Thursday, at 21:00 (peninsular time).

These are the five names I recommend for this matchday, in case they show up in your markets or you can steal them from your rival.

The Villarreal academy product has arrived on loan at Levante for this season and is the name of the week in Valencia. His top-flight track record is still short, but after an irrelevant role in the early matchdays, he has burst into the scene. In the last matchday where he scored 13 points, a tally that makes him one of the breakout players of the round. He was also one of the standouts with an assist in the match against Athletic Club of Bilbao that was postponed due to the rain last Wednesday, adding nine points. He could be a very interesting player for the future and costs just around 700k.

A La Liga veteran who joined Málaga at the last minute after several seasons at Levante, where he was one of their benchmarks thanks to his leadership and quality. Last season he scored one goal and provided five assists. In his new spell with the Malaguista side, he has been on a good run in recent weeks with 7 and 15 points, scoring and assisting on two occasions. He could be the player who brings clarity to the 'boquerón' attack and a set-piece specialist, taking free-kicks and corner kicks. In the markets, he is at a pretty tempting price; he does not reach four millions.

Fortuño has been one of the unexpected surprises between the posts. The 25-year-old academy product has spent years developing at Espanyol and has made the most of his chance after the injury to Marko Dmitrović. His recent performances, against the Atlético and Málaga, have strengthened his case for a starting spot. In both matches he earned very strong scores. His market value is under one million, which will keep rising matchday after matchday if he consolidates his place in the starting XI.

Mikel needs no introduction. His track record makes him a safer bet than the previous ones, although his Fantasy output this season had been more modest than expected. But it looks like the beast has woken up after an outstanding summer thanks to his big role at the World Cup. Last matchday he returned to his best with a magnificent brace. He is a safe option if he gets back to his level; now is a good time to buy him, since he starts from a fairly low value compared to what he could end up reaching.

He is one of the most in-form players at Deportivo Alavés at the start of this campaign. His versatility, his ability to contribute in different roles, and his knack for getting forward make him a points mine, since he covers many items (offensive, defensive and chance creation). He already has three assists so far this season, and a total of 53 points, despite missing one match through suspension and the match itself in which he was sent off. His market value is high, which is logical given his trajectory since the league began.
