Atlético - Deportivo

Match date: 24/10-21:00

Atlético de Madrid

For this match, it is expected that players will not need to be rested, since next week they will be exempt from the Copa round, meaning they can rest. In principle, it will be a very regular starting XI, except for absences, including a hugely important one: Cuti Romero. We will see whether Koke can make it to the game.

We also need to see whether Pubill will get a spot on the bench. This year he has not yet appeared, and it seems not having been with the national team has not agreed with him. We also have doubts about whether there will be "punishment" for Hjulmand, due to the bench role he had in the Champions League.

Maybe this is the day when Sorloth starts to get more minutes to find his rhythm; it will depend on how the match unfolds. Otherwise, we expect the usual starters to basically play, unless the coach decides to shake things up.

Real Club Deportivo de A Coruña

A match of a lot of quality and demand for the Galician side; Atlético is one of the leading teams in the competition. After a run of five matches without knowing victory, taking the Metropolitano would be a huge boost for the Galician team. Making the most of the fatigue of the Madrid players, who spent many minutes in their Champions League match playing with a numerical disadvantage, looks key.

There are not expected to be many changes to Hidalgo's starting XI. The return of Amatucci and the injury to Ede will bring the main updates, without ruling out the possible introduction of Adama and Mella to freshen up the right flank.
